Overview
Saraswati Secondary School, Damak, Jhapa (सरस्वती माध्यमिक विद्यालय, दमक, झापा) was established in 1971 A.D (2028 B.S) as a community based educational institution, which is situated in Damak-14, Jhapa, Nepal. It is affiliated to the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education. It offers educational programs from ECD to Grade 10 and Plus two in Management, Humanities, and Education streams.
Saraswati Secondary School was established in 2024 BS resulting from the continuous efforts of some of the unfailingly honest, sincere, dedicated, and well known social activists of Damak namely late Dambar Bahadur Adhikari, late Sher Bahadur Niroula, late Vijaya Mohan Singh(Kotbabu), late Jaya Bahadur Kunwar, late Khadga Bahadur Thapa, late Bhakta Bahadur Budhathoki, late Jagat Bahadur Subedi, and late Dhan Bahadur Tamang. At first, the school was set up in Damak, ward no-6 simply by making an ordinary hut in a peace called Charak Pada. In due courses of time, it was shifted to ward no 14 with the great endeavor of Late Damber Bahadur Adhikari.
It was set up as a primary school in 2024 BS. Then, it was set up as a proposed lower Secondary school in 2036 BS. Eventually, it was upgraded to Secondary School in 2043 BS. Right from the beginning of its establishment, it has been providing quality education to fulfill the burning desires of parents and guardians of the child irrespective of their castes and religions.
The School has made rapid progress by leaps and bounds. As a result, it was succeeded to start +2 level classes in 2065. Presently, the school has earned a name and fame for running computer engineering classes from class nine to class twelve.

The School’s main Aim/Motto is to maintaining quality Education and participation in different activities and skills to make their lives easy and skills to complete in different sectors in the world.
