BHM at Nepal College of Management (NCM), Lalitpur (affiliated with Kathmandu University)
The Bachelor in Hospitality Management (BHM) program at the Nepal College of Management (NCM) in Dhobighat, Lalitpur, is an intensive four-year program comprising eight semesters, including two semesters of internship, which require a written report.
Kathmandu University introduced the Bachelor in Hospitality Management (BHM) in November 2019. This blended tourism and hotel management course is designed to prepare students to enter the glamorous hospitality industry at the supervisory level in hotel and tourism operations.
BHM is a course that demands more technical and skilled learning. Most of the course content is allotted to practical (60%), while the remaining 40% is theory.
To graduate, students are required to complete a total of 132 credit hours of study, which includes:
- 30 credits for foundation courses
- 32 credits for core hospitality courses
- 31 credits for general management courses
- 6 credits and 3 credits for specialization and research, respectively.
