Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is an international conservation charity founded in 1826 as the world's first scientific zoological society. ZSL Nepal Office is seeking applications from qualified, talented, and result oriented Nepalese citizens for our Operations Officer position. The post holder will be responsible for implementing and reporting the progress of ZSL projects in the western Tarai complex. S/he will be responsible for fulfilling government compliances as part of MoUs and other agreements within the country and donor compliances.
The position is based in our Kohalpur field office, western Nepal with regular trips to field sites. Qualifications and skills: Master's degree in forestry science or similar field and have a minimum of 5 years experience.
The candidate should have proven skills in implementing and reporting project activities in coordination with government agencies particularly with protected area authorities, buffer zone management committees, provincial and district line agencies, local government, and community-based institutions.
