Finance and Corporate Services Director [1]
Key Responsibilities:
- The Finance and Corporate Services (FCS) Director provides overall leadership, oversight and management support for all aspects of Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, Office Administration, ICT and Security functions in WVI Nepal.
- This position is seen as a strategic partner, member of the Senior Leadership Team with a focus on ensuring accountability, stewardship, coordinating, planning and budgeting processes, providing accurate financial data, analysis and advices, as well as developing financial strategy that best serves the WVI Nepal's strategic and program objectives.
- Guidance to FCS functions to focus on process improvement, simplification, standardization and cost containment to achieve Child Well Being Outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or a related field with at least 7 years of professional experience in an international organization with 3 years in a Financial Management Position, preferably in an NGO context in the applicable fields (Finance, Admin, SCM, Procurement, IT), CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent preferred. Understanding of the humanitarian industry.
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and audit and/or internal controls. Understanding WV's vision, mission, and WV partnership operations are preferable.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, budget/cash flow monitoring, and internal accounting controls.
- Competent in the use and application of Microsoft Office computer programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and overall ICT must be willing and able to travel within World Vision working areas at regular intervals.
- Ability to solve complex problems and exercise independent judgment.
