Job title: National Consultant - Lead Consultant for NDR 2019

Key responsibilities:
The main objective of this assignment is to support and develop NDR 2019 for the Government of Nepal under the leadership of Ministry of Home Affairs which articulate Nepal's overall disaster impact, experiences, learning, issues, challenges and future priorities in the area of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management. The NDR 2019 will inform various stakeholders, policymakers, researchers and citizens of the country about the gravity of the problem and importance of disaster risk reduction and management.
Required qualification and experience:
Master's Degree in a relevant subject (DRM, Sociology, Rural Development, others) with over 7 years' experience in Development Sector in Nepal, with at least 4 years in D/CRM areas. The candidate should have proven skills of writing different reports of high quality in English. Excellent and proven track record of previous work with the Government of Nepal and its affiliated organizations and agencies in the development of DRM-related results.
