UNDP Nepal Vacancy Announcement for the Position of Vehicle Driver
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in collaboration with the Government of Nepal and various development partners is working towards poverty reduction, good governance, and sustainable human development. In this context, UNDP invites applications from qualified Nepali citizens for the position of a vehicle driver under the Provincial and Local Governance Support Program (PLGSP) being implemented by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.
Position Details:
- Position Title: Vehicle Driver
- Level: NP-2
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Passed SLC/SEE or equivalent
- Number of Positions: 10 (ten)
- Work Areas: Kathmandu (3), Biratnagar, Janakpur, Hetauda, Pokhara, Dhangadhi, Surkhet, Dhankuta

Requirements:
- Must possess a valid light and heavy vehicle driver's license issued by a recognized institution and have a minimum of two years of driving experience.
- Familiarity with traffic laws and rules, experience in repairing and maintaining vehicles.
- Ability to communicate in Nepali and English languages.
- Capability in maintaining and updating the vehicle logbook and ability to maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Experience in assisting with office management during field missions is preferred.
