The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is present in more than 30 countries UKaid around the world and is working in Nepal since 1957 with its Health and Disability interventions, Inclusive Development, Research, and Advocacy activities. TLM Nepal is leading a consortium implementing the "FOUND Project" in 5 districts - Kapilvastu, Rupandehi, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, and Morang over 4 years with support from UK Aid. The goal of the project is to contribute towards full and productive employment and decent work for all women and men, including persons with disabilities, and equal pay for work of equal value.
Position: Business Development Officer - 5 (Five)
Location: Butwal, Biratnagar, Lalitpur
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relation or relevant area;
- At least 3 years of working experience in the relevant field.
- Excellent presentation and persuasive skill
Requirements:
- Understand varieties of positions and skillsets required by the current market; Visit varieties of employers and generate formal and self-employment opportunities for people with wide ranges of disability.
- Work closely with FOUND recruited Employment Counselor to understand the skills, personality traits and aptitude of people with disabilities and identify matching jobs for them.
- Identify existing and new employers keen to hire people with disabilities and adopt reasonable accommodation in their workplace.
- Build rapport with employers/networks and influence them to hire people with disabilities.
