The Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal Vacancy for AWC Doctor and Medical Centre Assistant:
The Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal is the field arm of Gurkha Welfare Trust UK, a registered charitable Trust working particularly for the Ex-Gurkha Veterans and their communities across Nepal. We invite applications from all interested and qualified candidates for the below positions:
1) AWC Doctor based at Area Welfare Center Dharan; Part-Time AWC Doctor based at Area Welfare Center Kaski (Pokhara):
S/he will be responsible for implementing Clinical Governance in his/her Medical Centre in accordance with all GWT (N) Standards of Medical Service delivery, Quality Standards, Disease Management Guidelines, professional standards Policies, and Procedures
Qualifications and Experiences: MDGP or MD in Internal medicine preferred, or minimum 3 years of work experience post-graduation as Medical Doctor (MBBS).
2) Medical Centre Assistant based at Area Welfare Centre (AWC) Bagmati (Kathmandu):
S/he will be responsible to perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the Medical Centers running smoothly.
Qualifications and Experiences.
Minimum Technical SLC level medical training (CMA/ANM), PLC Nursing or general medicine (HA) an advantage.
