1. Position: Provincial Program Officer (1 Position)
- The Provincial Program Officer will be responsible for leading, managing, coordinating, monitoring, and providing technical assistance for the implementation of specific program components and activities.
- S/he will assist in maintaining relations with program partners, provincial, and local government offices. Supervise Field Coordinators, Consultants, and Partners.
- Support collaboration with the program team in program development, preparation of work plans, coordination, and support.
- S/he will develop and maintain the relationship between elected representatives in provinces and selected municipalities, municipal officials, the respective provincial government, other relevant stakeholders, and along with its implementing partners in that municipality.
Essential:
Master's degree in development studies, law, public policy, political science, economics, international development, or other relevant field is preferred. At least have five years of experience working with local government or data-driven projects.
2. Position: Field Coordinator, Consultant - (2 Positions)
- The Field Coordinator will be responsible for supporting support overall provincial and local government level program management and implementation as instructed by the TAF Nepal Country Office.
- S/he will be stationed at their designated province (2 and Karnali), tasked with overseeing the coordination of TAF's interests in the municipalities, while frequently visiting the TAF Country Office in Kathmandu and other program implementation sites as necessary by the; guaranteeing frequent communication and the accurate relaying of information.
- S/he will be the liaison between elected representatives of partner province and municipalities, municipal officials, the respective provincial government, other relevant stakeholders, and along with its implementing partners in the municipalities.
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in development studies, law, public policy, political science, economics, international development, or other relevant field is preferred. Knowledge of local government's operation and at least have one year of experience working with local government is preferred.
