Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SWBBL) is a leading 'D' Class national level microfinance institution, having its Central Office at Kathmandu, operated since 2058 BS. The core function of the institution is to provide financial services to targeted people, especially the women at their doorsteps. The institution is currently serving more than 250 thousand households through its branch offices located in 61 districts of the country in all provinces.
SWBBL invites application from a very competent, qualified Nepali national for the position of Deputy General Manager (DGM) and Assistant General Manager (AGM). Job summary of the positions are as below:
1. Deputy General Manager (DGM: 11 Ka)
The DGM will assist the leadership in operation, growth, and development of the organization with the following key job responsibilities:
- Assist the CEO for the achievement of SWBBEs vision, mission, and strategies,
- Program/planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting,
- Develop proposals, business plans, strategic documents, products and policy papers,
- Perform administrative affairs, human resource management for the growth and development of SWBBL,
- Perform other duties as directed by the CEO.
This position requires a person of exceptional caliber and competency.
Selection will be based on a robust set of competencies demonstrating experience and achievements on areas set below:
- Master Degree from a recognized university,
- At least 5 years of working experience at the mid-management level in banking and the financial institution,
- Determined personality, self-starter, result-oriented, and strong human relation skills,
- Strong commitment to mission and core values of microfinance,
- Knowledge on microfinance sector, rural economy and banking system of the country,
- Strong communication and rapport building skills.
2. Assistant General Manager (AGM: Kha)
The AGM will assist the leadership in operation, growth, and development of the organization with the following key job responsibilities:
- Assist CEO and DGM for the achievement of SWBBEs goals and strategies,
- Program/planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting,
- Develop operational strategies and implement so as to achieve targets and milestones,
- Develop proposals, products and policy papers,
- Establish and develop a rapport with different stakeholders,
- Perform other duties as directed by the CEO and DGM.
This position requires a person of exceptional caliber and competency. Selection will be based on a robust set of competencies demonstrating experience and achievements on areas set below:
- Master Degree from a recognized university,
- At least 5 years of working experience at lower-mid management level in banking and the financial institution,
- Determined personality, result-oriented, and strong human relation skills,
- Strong commitment to mission and core values of microfinance,
- Knowledge on microfinance sector of the country,
- Strong communication skills.
For both positions:
No. of Vacant Position: 1 for each position
Age: not exceeding 40 years (45 years in case of the female candidate).
Work Station: SWBBL Central Office Kathmandu
Appointment Nature: Permanent
Salary and Benefits: As per the rules of the institution.
Selection Process: Written-test, presentation, and interview.
