Sunshine Social Development Organization (SSDO), Kapilvastu is a non-profit making non-government organization. We are implementing Children. Youth and Community for Change (CYCC) project in Mayadevi Rural Municipality, Kapilvastu in cooperation and technical support of United Mission to Nepal (UMN) since January 2019.
SSDO is seeking qualified, competent, committed with good character energetic candidates for the project. Interest individuals having the following qualifications and experiences are requested to apply for their applicable positions.
1. Monitoring & Education Officer (MEO): -1 person
Academic qualifications and experiences: Bachelor's degree in Education with 3 years experience (two years in monitoring, learning & documentation and minimum one year in child friendly teaching field) in any development organization.
Experiences and Skills:
- Monitor the project interventions, data analysis, and document the leanings of the project.
- Have experienced child and youth-led participatory monitoring.
- Having knowledge and experience of data collection methods, analysis, and findings.
- Good knowledge of the use of data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of project planning and reporting.
- Play a key role in project data management in any software.
- Having knowledge and experience of child-friendly teaching methods and educational research.
- Assist the project staff in their capacity building on monitoring and Child-friendly teaching method.
- Sound communication and coordination skills with interpersonal skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Nepali.
2. Child Partner Management and Translation Assistant (CPMA): 1 person (Female only)
Academic qualifications and experiences: 10+2 or intermediate level in education or Any discipline with 2 years experiences in social work,
Experiences and Skills:
- Have excellent skills and experience in translation (Nepali to English and English to Nepali).
- Knowledge and skill to manage a database of children-related records.
- Advance computer skills (use of excel and other software or database).
- Have knowledge of Child rights and child sponsorship.
- Have good documentation and communication skills
- Ability to speak the local language (prefer to Awadhi).
