Sunshine Social Development Organization (SSDO). Kapilvastuis a well establish non-profit making non-government organization is going to implement Health and economic recovery Projects in Mayadevi Rural Municipality, Kapilvastu in cooperation with United Mission to Nepal (UMN). We are seeking well qualified, competent energetic, and self-motivated candidates for the following positions. Interested individuals having required academic qualifications and experiences are requested to apply to mention the position.

1. Project Coordinator (Health) -1 person

Academic qualification and experiences: Bachelor's in Public Health (BPH) or health-related disciplines with a minimum of I year of working experience in the relevant area.

Experiences and Skills:

  • Knowledge and skill of working with Palikas. local health facilities, District Hospital, and District Health Office and cooperate with them for successful project implementation.
  • Experience in planning, monitoring, and reporting health-related development and recovery project for active implementation in the field.
  • A good team player with experience of working in a team, with hands-on familiarity in leading project staffs, and administering of the project's budget.
  • Familiar with technical knowledge in health with respect to the pandemic of Covid 19, and capacity building.
  • Good command of verbal and written communication skills both in English and Nepali language (Awadhi is also preferred).
  • Sound knowledge and skills of computer and skill of MS Office package is a must.
  • A good team player with a learning attitude and able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience in technical support to strengthen transparency, accountability, and responsiveness at local level public institutions and local governments.
  • Self-starter with an ability to carry out project activities with minimum supervision.
  • A two-wheeler driving license is a must.

2. Project Coordinator (Livelihood)- 1 person

Academic qualification and experiences: BSc Ag. with a minimum of I year of experience in a similar field. or Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 2 years working experience in livelihood.

Experiences and Skills:

  • Overall planning, implementation, reporting, and monitoring of the project.
  • Responsible for managing overall project implementation in the field as well as leading the project staffs, and administration of the project's budget
  • Strengthen coordination and build rapport with district and rural municipality level governments, partners, community, and SSDO.
  • Familiar with technical knowledge in economic recovery and knowledge of economic aspects of the pandemic of covid 19.
  • Experience in implementing livelihood-related projects focussing on vocational training, entrepreneurship development, value chain development, and market linkage.
  • Working experience of working with local government incapacitating them in areas of good governance.
  • Good command of verbal and written communication skills both in English and Nepali language (Awadhi is also preferred).
  • Sound knowledge and skills of computer and skill of MS Office package is a must.

3. Admin and Finance Officer (AFO): - 1 Person

Academic qualifications and experiences: Bachelor's Degree in management or related discipline with at least 2 years of experiences in the relevant

Experiences and Skills:

  • Manage the overall administration and finance of the project.
  • Knowledge and skills in warehouse management, stock book, and asset record.
  • Having good knowledge and skill of procurement systems.
  • Knowledge of the Government of Nepal's tax policies and relevant bylaws.
  • Experience in project budgeting, preparing, and generating project financial reports through financial software.
  • Knowledge of documenting project-related materials, timely reporting to relevant line managed and archived for the case of access.
  • Prepare & review vouchers in financial software, obtain approval, and process payments for all the financial transactions done at the project.
  • Good command over MS Excel and be able to manage project finance.
  • Good skill in data management.
  • Knowledge and skills of accounting software.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Nepali (Awadhi is desirable).

4. Community facilitator Area Coordinator (CFAC- Health): - 3 person

Minimum Academic qualifications and experiences: CMA/ANM with at least I year of working experience in the relevant field.

Experiences and Skills:

  • Having good community mobilization skills and technical knowledge of health.
  • Experience in working to strengthen Health Facility Operation and Management Committee (HFOMC).
  • Having good linkage, coordination skills with community and ward office.
  • Good skills of event reporting and data management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with local government and field-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and skills of minute writing and local record keeping.
  • Knowledge of understanding the change and case study writing.
  • Good facilitation skills and problem-solving at the community level.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Nepali and Awadhi languages.
  • Having basic level computer operating skills.

5 Community facilitator Area Coordinator (CFAC- Livelihood):- 3 person

Minimum Academic qualifications and experiences: I. Sc. Ag, JTA Agriculture and or veterinary with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Experiences and Skills:

  • Having good community mobilization skills and technical knowledge of production packages of agriculture and livestock.
  • Good knowledge and experience in small and medium enterprise development.
  • Understanding of market linkage of agriculture and livestock in the context of Kapilvastu.
  • Good skills of event reporting and data management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of linkage and coordination with local government and field-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and skills of minute writing and local record keeping.
  • Knowledge of understanding the change and case study writing.
  • Good facilitation skills and problem-solving at the community level.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Nepali and Awadhi languages.
  • Having basic level computer operating skills.
