Job Positions:
1. School Principal: SOS Hermann Gmeiner School Bharatpur
School Principal is responsible for leading the school m in a strategic way aligning to SOS Children's Villages' policies and values; having a demonstrated experience of educational leadership and management. Required competencies:
- A demonstrated record of academic leadership experience.
- A strong work ethic to foster and sustain positive and productive relationships with key stakeholders.
- An individual of high moral character and professional integrity who can maintain credibility, confidence, and pride in the school.
- An individual with outstanding communication, collaboration, planning and organizing skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of curriculum planning, curriculum delivery, learning outcomes, and impact assessment and evaluation strategies.
- Strong understanding of education policies and practices of Nepal along with an understanding of educational practices of non-profit making academic institutions.
- Strong command over English language and computer proficiency.
Qualification and Experience:
- Master's Degree in any discipline (M. Phil, preferred) with a minimum second division or equivalent GPA from a recognized university with minimum 3 years' experience as Assistant Director/ Vice Principal or School Principal in a reputed educational institution.
2. ICT Officer (1): ICT Department based at National Office, Sanothimi
ICT Officer is responsible for the smooth running of IT systems and ensuring that users get maximum benefits from them at National Office and its various projects.
Required competencies:
- Network Management (Network security. VLAN. VPN. Bandwidth Management. Remote support. TCP/IP. Monitoring)
- Firewall Management;(web and App tilter.rules.virtual host, log reports. QOS. scheduling -CISCO Meraki. Cyberoam. Sophos)
- System Administration (Windows server 2016. Domain System & Active Directory. DNS. System installation)
- Handling website with CMS
- Installation and support of Microsoft Application (Office Package 2016, Office 365, SharePoint etc.)
- Managing Router and Switch (CISCO). Access Points (Unifi AP and Cisco Meraki AP). IP Phone
- Data backup. RAID knowledge (NAS device)
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology with minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field. She should have good language command in both English and Nepali (both writing and speaking). Candidates are expected to have excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
