Position: TB Survey and Surveillance and Liaison Coordinator

  • Required No. (s) 1 (One)
  • Term & Location:  Fixed term; based in National Tuberculosis Control Center (NTCC), Thimi, Bhaktapur

Brief Description:

  • The position holder will work under the technical guidance and supervision of DR Survey Coordinator and Senior Planning, M&E Specialist- TB. The incumbent will support NTP to conduct TB survey/ surveillance and program management through monitoring/ analysis of NTP program and capacity building of field team in the survey/surveillance of program.
  • More specifically the post holder will contribute monitor field team; oversight and ensure the quality implementation of TB survey/research at field following the approved Protocol; oversight and coordinate with culture lab and OSA for regular collection and test of samples for DR Survey

Eligibility

  • Master's degree in health science-related subject, Biostatistics/ epidemiology or equivalent in a related discipline(s) with a minimum of 3 years (2 years for GSI group*) of experience in Public Health. Health research experience (preferable)

GSI group includes females, Dalit, Madheshi, People with Disabilities and ocher indigenous/minorities
