Position Senior Surveillance Medical Coordinator

Term & Location: Fixed term; based in Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD), Teku, Kathmandu
Job Description Responsible for implementation of malaria program based at EDCD supporting the national malaria program. He/ She will be responsible for active case finding surveillance, finding investigation, supporting     health     care delivery system at federal, provincial and local level in passive case finding, including on site coaching and supervision of health workers, facilitating private sector engagement in malaria program and screening of sub microscopic cases
Eligibility Master's degree in Public Health, Community Medicine, Tropical Medicine or other related field (preferably in Health-related disciplines) with MBBS and minimum of 5 years (3 years for GSI*group) of relevant work experience in public health program preferably incommunicable diseases

*GSI group includes Female, Dalit, Madhesi, People with Disabilities and other indigenous/minorities
