Infrastructure Coordinator Required No.(s): 1 Term & Location: Fixed term; based in Bardibas Field Office
The Infrastructure Coordinator provides technical guidance for construction activities under the SDF-Quality Inclusive Early Childhood Development & Basic Education Project. Responsibilities include construction, renovation, and maintenance of ECCD centers, and WASH stations; builds partner capacity (NGOs, local government, and community groups) through training and coaching. Ensuring child and disability-friendly infrastructure, quality program delivery, and compliance with safety standards is key. The role involves monitoring, partnership, and financial management, and coordination with program teams.
Master's degree in a relevant field with a bachelor's degree in civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, along with a minimum of 3 years (2 years for the GSI group) of relevant experience in managing construction projects, including at least 1 year in education-related infrastructure (preferred). Or a bachelor's degree in civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering with at least 5 years (3 years for the GSI group) of similar experience.
