VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Sanima Hydro is a leading Hydropower Company in Nepal with a team of highly qualified experts and engineers who are involved in projects since preliminary study till complete construction and operation of HydroPower Plants. We are currently looking for:
1. Position: Draft Person/Civil Overseer (Junior-Level)
- Openings: Three (3)
- Job Station: Head Office with frequent project site visits.
- Academic Qualification and Other Requirements:
- Intermediate level in Civil Engineering/Architecture or Technical School training in engineering drawing/1-2 years of related work experience.
- Prepare civil engineering drawings of various hydropower project structures using AutoCAD or similar drafting systems, with the ability to create detailed, accurate, and precise technical drawings.
- Properly maintain the drawing register and document transmittal forms in consultation with the CADD Coordinator or Project Engineer.
- Assist the engineering team in other aspects of engineering and field investigative jobs when needed.
2. Position: Civil Engineer (Junior-Level)
- Openings: Three (3)
- Job Station: Head Office with frequent project site visits.
- Academic Qualification and Other Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proven work experience of 1-2 years in civil engineering, preferably in hydropower or renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of Hydropower Systems, able to plan, design, test, and oversee hydropower structures' construction, operation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering design tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fresh graduates can also apply.
3. Position: Civil Engineer (Senior-Level)
- Openings: One (1)
- Job Station: Head Office with frequent project site visits.
- Academic Qualification and Other Requirements:
- Minimum of Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or higher level.
- Proven work experience of 5 years or more in civil engineering, preferably in hydropower or renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of Hydropower Systems, using various testing methods for materials, structural components, and final construction, ensuring that the construction project meets the required quality standards.
- Proficiency in the planning, design, construction, operation, performance assessment, and maintenance of infrastructure in different areas of civil engineering, including river structures, roads, structural, transportation, and water resources.
- Analyze plans, survey reports, maps, and other data to plan and design hydropower infrastructure projects.
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills to lead engineering structures whenever required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering design tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience as a Project Manager or worked as a Project Manager in large-sized hydropower projects.
