Embassy of Switzerland in Nepal - Safer Migration Project Phase Ill
The Safer Migration Project (SaMi) is a bilateral initiative of the Governments of Nepal and Switzerland led by the Ministry of Labor Employment and Social Security and implemented by local governments. Helvetas Nepal is providing technical assistance to the project. Helvetas Nepal invites applications from Nepali citizens for the following position:
1. Position: Program Officer — Planning, Reporting, and Documentation - 1 position
Job Purpose: The overall responsibility of the position holder is to prepare high-quality periodic reports, planning documents, and documentation of the project !earnings, best practices, and lessons learned in English.
Required Education, Experience, and Social Competence:
- Master's degree in English Literature, Social Science, or in other relevant fields with proven analytical and writing skills.
- Two years of experience in the development field with sound knowledge of monitoring and evaluation (internship can also be counted as experience).
- Proven work in writing analytical papers in the English language.
- Proven knowledge and proficiency in ICT, MS Office application and database software.
- Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion, and poverty reduction and sensitivity towards migrant labor.
Project duration: Until 15 July 2022
