- Officer- Design and Training, Literacy Program - Kathmandu-1
The Officer, Design and Training is responsible to contribute in design and development of the program including developing training content and manuals. She / He will also be responsible for providing technical assistance, support and supervision on all aspects of the program design, including professional development activities to RtR filed staffs, Teachers and partner staff on reading and writing instruction, and library management activities;
Key Selection criteria are:
- Master's degree in Education
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Experience of facilitating teaching training
- Officer - Material, Literacy Program - Katmandu-1
The Officer, Material will organize and oversee the complete process of Quality Reading Material ("QRM") Unit of Room to Read in Nepal ensuring the quality of children's books and designing of instructional materials in coordination with Instructional Design and Teacher Support ("IDTS") Unit and Curriculum Development Centre/Government and other relevant Organizations.
The Key Selection Criteria are:
- Master's degree in Education with specialization in Nepali or related filed.
- Minimum 5 years' of professional experience (Instructional materials design & development and teacher training).
- Experience of working in book publishing industry, edit stories and QRM books in Nepali Language.
- Associate - Design and Training, Literacy Program - Kathmandu - 1
In consultation and guidance with the Manager, Literacy (LM), She /He is responsible for providing technical assistance, support and supervision on all aspects of the program design, including professional development activities to RtR filed staff, teachers and partner NGO staff on reading and writing instruction and library management activities.
The Key Selection Criteria are:
- Bachelor's degree in Education with specialization in Nepali
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Experience in typing Nepali Language and is comfortable editing Nepali fonts
- Associate- Material, Literacy Programs- Kathmandu-1
The Officer, Material is responsible for providing technical assistance, support and supervision on all aspects of the program design, including professional development activities to RtR, teachers and partner staffs on reading and writing instruction and library management and activities.
The Key Selection Criteria are:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or Social Science or Management or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Able to edit stories and QRM books in Nepali Language
