Right4Children, an organization committedly involved in the areas of child protection, education, and livelihood development in Pokhara and other parts of the country, is looking for a dynamic, qualified, and experienced individual for the following position based in Pokhara.
1. Programme Coordinator- 1
Project: Promoting Young Women in Employment in Pokhara
Qualifications required:
- University Degree preferably in Social Sciences or Development Studies.
- At least 3 years of experience in project implementation and coordination
- Excellent communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English and Nepali;
- Experience in the field of Education and or Vocational Education will be preferred
- Open to changes and ability to manage complexities;
- Responds positively to critical feedback and differing points of view
- Substantial experience in networking and coordination with government agencies, private sector, and civil society organizations at different levels
Key responsibilities
- Work closely and coordinate all project activities with Plan International and all training partners, as Right4children's programme coordinator;
- Plan and coordinate project activities for timely completion;
- Coordinate Joint monitoring visit, district, and local government level meeting/workshop;
- Arrange coordination meetings with Municipalities, local government agencies, Pokhara Tourism Council, etc.;
- Coordinate Beneficiary selection process as per the agreed;
- Ensure that planned training programs are being implemented by all training partners as per the timeline;
- Coordinate with NSTB, CTEVT (Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training) for the skill test of the beneficiaries;
- Coordinate with management in developing project scope, plan, deliverables, budget, and milestones;
- Oversee project correspondences and prepare and review project-related emails, letters, proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and other documents;
- Plan for a balanced flow of funds as planned. Ensure the accurate and appropriate utilization of the received budget, revise the budget according to the need of the project.
2. Technical Coordinator-1
Qualifications required:
- University degree preferably in Management or in relevant field.
- Minimum three years of field experience in partnerships, logistics, and procurement.
- Proven record of experience in TVET preferred.
- Substantial experience in networking and coordination with the private sector and civil society organizations at different levels
Key responsibilities
- Technical Coordinator must be self-motivated and strong leaders capable of promptly and effectively monitoring, coordinating, and communicating strategic objectives;
- Technical coordinators should serve as mediators, so their duties also include negotiating with training partners, developing and fostering relationships, getting people to understand others' points of view, and understanding their expectations and how it impacts its stakeholders;
- Training reporting and analysis are included in technical coordinator responsibilities.
- These involve compiling reports on training, events, or updates to learn from them and improve future processes and relationships.
Salary for the positions will be based on the proven track record of experience, achievements, and qualification
