Right4Children, an organization committedly involved in the areas of child protection, education, and livelihood support in Pokhara and other parts of the country is implementing a 6-month Post-Community Care project. We are looking for dynamic, qualified, and experienced individuals for the following positions to be a part of the project team.
Position: Community Health Officer-1
Qualification:
- Bachelor in Public Health or Community Nursing programme with at least 2 years of working experience in community health education and promotion
- Experienced and familiar in conducting health, nutrition, and sanitary hygiene-related trainings, education, and awareness sessions at the community level
- Having sound knowledge and skills in programme planning, budgeting, and developing implementation strategies.
- Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, coordination, and facilitation skills
- Self-motivated, with good time management and stress management skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Strong ability in relationship-building and in interacting with children, youth, and their families
- Strong command over spoken and written Nepali and English language
- Very good analytical, problem-solving, reporting, communication, and documentation skills
- Should have a valid driving license (two-wheeler)
Position: Social Worker-2
Qualification:
- Intermediate (+2 or equivalent) level with at least 2 years of experience in the field of social work, social mobilization and outreach service delivery.
- Experienced and familiar working with vulnerable groups and communities especially exploited children, youth, and the victims of abuse and exploitation.
- Having a good working relationship with existing networks, groups, and alliances involved in human rights and protection issues.
- Sound knowledge and skills in providing psychosocial support and counseling services
- Good skill and knowledge in using the word, excel, and the internet.
- Good in written and spoken English and Nepali, good reporting and communication skills.
- Willing to work under high pressure and should be willing to work off-hours if and when required.
- Having basic psychosocial support knowledge and skills
- Should have a valid driving license (two-wheeler)
Salary for the positions will be based on the proven track record of experience, achievements, and qualification
