Plan International Vacancy Announcement for Senior Technical Advisor and Finance Coordinator
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. Plan International has been working in Nepal since 1978, helping marginalized children, their families, and communities to access their rights to survival, protection, and participation. With the close coordination of local partners and stakeholders, we are working in 23 districts across the country.
We invite applications from interested candidates for the following positions:
1. Senior Technical Advisor – Lead & Decide – 1 Position
(Open to all applicants, Fixed-term employment for two years from the date of joining, based in Country Office)
Responsibility:
The position will provide conceptual/technical and strategic direction for programme design, ensure program quality, and lead external engagement and influencing in this field. This role brings specific technical expertise in Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and Youth Activism, leading and ensuring achievement of identified outcomes and impact while driving and including evidence-based innovative solutions.
2. Finance Coordinator – 2 Positions
(Open to all applicants; Project-based employment for two years, based in Regional Office-East and Regional Office-West)
Responsibility:
This role will be responsible for all aspects of assigned project financial management, including budget development and monitoring, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies. This role will also oversee the accurate and timely processing of all project-related financial transactions with effective coordination with the Finance department, project team, and implementing partners. The position holder will take a lead role in monitoring, coaching, and capacity development of implementing partner’s finance staff.
