Child Not Bride funded by The NRK Telethon Norway is a multi-sectoral project addressing complex challenges in the areas of education, WASH, economic empowerment, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and challenging harmful social norms to end child early and forced marriage (CEFM). The anticipated four years-long project will support girls to attend school, educate both young people and adults in girls' rights and gender equality, and ensure laws that protect girls from child marriage. The project will be implemented in the Dhanusha district of Province 2 and Bardiya of Lumbini Province.
1. Finance Coordinator - Telethone: Child Not Bride - 1 Position
Fixed- Term Employment from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2023 based in Regional Office - East (Janakpur)
The Finance Coordinator (Telethone: Child Not Bride: Showing Talent, Equality & Ambition of Marginalised children in Karnali) will be responsible for the effective project finance management to ensure that project activities of implemented are at the best quality with the most competitive costs and they respond to CO, NO and GH Policies and procedures incompliance with donor's condonation. Position is based on Dolpa under regional office-west (either in Partner office or other arrangement- to be decided). This position have effectively coordinate with Finance department of regional office west and Country finance team. Active coordination with relevant program team and other function is necessary.
2. Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL) Coordinator- Telethone: Child Not Bride - 1 Position
Fixed- Term Employment from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2023 based in Regional Office- East (Janakpur)
The main purpose of the Monitoring, Evaluation Research and Learning (MERL) Coordinator is to collect, review and share high quality, timely, accurate and complete programme/project-based monitoring information, research and evaluation data to support and inform overall project/programme being implemented at the regional as well as country level. The MERL Coordinator will focus on providing the necessary capacity building to partner organisations to improve their project monitoring and evaluation system. S/He will also implement Plan International Nepal's Accountability Vechanism.
3. Project Officer - Telethone: Child Not Bride - 2 Positions
Fixed- Term Employment from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2023 based in Regional Offices- East (Janakpur) and West (Surkhet) respectively
The Project Officer will provide overall technical support to implementing partner organization for the telethon funded "Child Not Bride Project," an integrated component of Thrive (included Care and Protection), Learn, Lead and Decide. Similarly, the project has also the component of WASH, Climate Crisis/Disaster Risk Management and gender as cross cutting. Also, the Project Officer will support Project Manager (PM) for quality leadership in the coordination, delivery, monitoring and reporting of the telethon funded Project in line with the approved project proposal, Detailed Project Implementation Plan (DIP) and funding agreement document (FAD) following the gender transformative approaches as outlined in Plan Nepal Country Strategy.
