1. Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Specialist -1 Position
Fixed Term Employment for 2 years based in Regional Office, East- Dhanusha The GESI Specialist will facilitate the integration of Plan's Gender Equality and Inclusion Policy across thematic programs thereby providing implementation and technical guidance to the program team at Regional Office-East. S/he will support for quality design, implementation, and evaluation of programs to ensure the unique needs/challenges of women, men, girls, boys, and other genders, minority groups, and persons with disabilities are identified and responded by our programs and that inequality is challenged wherever possible (transformative approach).
2. Project Officer - Protect Project - 2 Positions
Fixed Term Employment until 31 December 2023 based in Makwanpur overseeing Sunsari (1) and Banke (1)
The purpose of this position is to support the Project Manager to oversee and ensure a high-quality project implementation, in both development and humanitarian settings, and achieve targets towards Plan's and/or donor's requirements through overall management of the implementing partners within ProTEcT project in the respective areas and districts, under the direct supervision of Program Specialist-Thrive and Project Manager of ProTEcT project. The position will represent Plan in various forums in the respective sector/s including in government at municipal and district level and other stakeholders.
