Nepal Telecom Job Vacancy for Various Positions 2079: Notice for Open and Inclusive Competitive Examination at Nepal Telecom (Job Vacancy Announcement for Various Positions): Nepal Telecom, also known as Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited, is calling for eligible Nepali citizens to fill vacant permanent positions through an open and inclusive competition. The Staff Regulations of Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited, including the first amendment, will be followed in the recruitment process.
Eligibility Criteria:
Interested candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the open and inclusive competitive examination:
- Must be a Nepalese citizen
- Must not be disqualified according to Regulation 17
- Must not have been prosecuted for irregularity in any examination conducted by the Public Service Commission for a certain period of time.
Application Process:
Applicants must apply through the online system on the company's website, which is either www.ntc.net.np or https://recruit.ntc.net.np. The following documents must be uploaded while filling out the online application form:

- At least five years of experience in university or teacher service or an authorized level post of an organized organization.
- Candidates who have obtained a degree can be candidates even if they have less than two years of experience.
- Relevant subject for the concerned service group at the official level post: Telecommunications and Communication or Radio or Electrical and Communications or Electrical and Electronics or Information Technology, Computer Software or Computer Hardware Engineering or Electronics Engineering (Any one of Communication, Electronics, Computer, Radio subject) or Computer Science, Information Communication or any one of the similar subjects or Electrical or Electrical Engineering or any one of the similar subjects or Mechanical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Mechanical Engineering or any one of the similar subjects.
Senior Engineer, Telecom:
- Graduated from a recognized educational institution in the relevant service of this company.
- Passed master's degree in the subject prescribed for the group's official level position.
- Registered with Nepal Engineering Council as per the prevailing law and Nepal Government Civil Service/Government Salma or Must have at least five years of service in the official level position of a university or a teacher or an organized institution.
- Candidates who have obtained a bachelor's degree can be a candidate even if they have less than two years of experience.
- Prescribed subject for entry into the service at the official level of the concerned service group: Telecommunications and Communication or Radio or Electrical and Communications or Electrical and Electronics or Information Technology, Computer Software or Computer Hardware Engineering or Electronics Engineering (any one of Communication, Electronics, Computer, Radio Subject) or Computer Science, Information Communication or any one of the similar subjects or Electrical or Electrical Engineering or any one of the similar subjects or Mechanical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Mechanical Engineering or any of the similar subjects.
Senior Accounts Officer, Accountant:
- Graduated in Management, Commerce or Business Administration from a recognized educational institution.
- At least five years of experience in Nepal Government Civil Service/Government Service or University or Teacher Service or an official level position in an organized organization.
- Candidates who have obtained a bachelor's degree can be candidates even if they have less than two years of experience.
Telecom Engineer (Electronics and Communication):
Graduated from a recognized educational institution in Telecommunications and Communication or Radio or Electrical and Communications or Electrical and Electronics or Information Technology, Computer Software or Computer Hardware Engineering or Electronics Engineering (Communication, Electronics, Computer, Radio) in any one subject.
- Registered with Nepal Engineering Council according to prevailing laws.
Telecom Engineer (Computer):
- Graduated from a recognized educational institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Communication, Computer Software, Computer Hardware or Computer Engineering or similar subjects.
- Registered with Nepal Engineering Council as per prevailing law.
Telecom Engineer (Electrical):
- Graduated from a recognized educational institution in Electrical, Electronics, and Electrical or Electrical and Communications or Electrical Engineering or any of similar subjects.
- Obtained a bachelor's degree and registered with the Nepal Engineering Council as per prevailing laws.
Engineer, Civil:
- Graduate degree in similar engineering from a recognized educational institution.
- Registered with Nepal Engineering Council as per prevailing law.
Assistant Administrative Officer:
- Graduate or C equivalent in any subject from a recognized educational institution.
Assistant Business Officer:
A graduate degree in Management, Commerce, or Business Administration Economics from a recognized educational institution is required for the post of Assistant Business Officer. Additionally, the candidate must have passed the graduation level or equivalent in one of the core subjects of mathematics or statistics.
For the post of technician:
- the candidate must have passed SLC or a similar exam from a recognized educational institution and have received training in transmission, outside, power, switching, or telecom technician from the telecommunication training center of Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited. The candidate can also have Level 2 certification in transmission, outside, power, and switching from the National Skill Testing Center, and must have passed the skill test.
For assistant-level posts:
- A minimum GPA of two in SEE from a recognized educational institution is required, or the candidate must have passed SEE or an equivalent exam.
For the post of Junior Technician:
- The candidate must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized educational institution and received training in transmission, outside, power, switching, or junior technician from Nepal Telecommunications Company Limited's telecommunication training center. Alternatively, the candidate can have Level 1 certification in transmission, outside, power, and switching from the National Skill Testing Center and must have passed the skill test.
Age Limit for Nepal Telecommunications Company Recruitment:
- Assistant level education: 18 years to 35 years
- Level 6 to Level 7 Officer level posts: 21 years to 34 years
- Level 8 and Level 9 Officer level studies: 21 years to 40 years
- Women and disabled candidates: Upper age limit should not exceed 40 years
- Age calculation: Last date of submission of application (21 days deadline) will be considered
- No age limit for existing permanent employees of Nepal Telecommunications Company
Type of Examination:
- Written, Interview and Practical (Only for Level 3 and Level 4 of Technical Courses)
