Notification regarding applications call for the appointment of the Principal of Nepal Police School Belchautara, Tanahun

Nepal Police School, Belchautara, Tanahun for the purpose of appointing a vacant principal from interested Nepali citizens who meet the following qualifications within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of first publication of this notice (2081 Jestha 18, the next day if that day is a public holiday) Selection Board Secretariat Nepal Police.

This notice is published for the information of all concerned at the Head Office, Welfare Division, School Coordination Desk, Naxal from 10 AM to 5 PM and a scan copy can be submitted through [email protected] or [email protected].

The application form can be downloaded from the Nepal Police website www.nepalpolice.gov.np.

1) Eligibility for candidates:

For the post of Principal of Nepal Police School, the following qualifications should be met:

(a) Graduated from a recognized university or institute of study,

(b) having taught for at least 10 years at the secondary level or equivalent, or having at least 5 years of experience as a principal in a secondary school or working as a deputy professor in a university for at least 3 years,

(c) has not been convicted of a criminal offence,

(d) not being a member of any political party at the time of application,

(e) There is no conflict of interest with the school.

(f) Completion of 30 years and not exceeding 55 years on the last date of application.

2) Documents to be submitted along with the application:

(a) Self-attested copy of Nepali citizenship,

(b) Self-attested copies of documents relating to educational qualification (including equivalency certificate if from a foreign board),

(c) Attested copy of relevant school/university documents showing working experience in school/university, (d) Concept paper and 4-year work plan related to leading the school not exceeding 2,500 words,

(e) copies of academic research articles, compositions and publications published in national or international journals,

(f) self-verified personal details,

(g) Self-declaration letter as per clauses (c), (d) and (e) of point 1,

(h) Letter of undertaking to work full-time in the school until the tenure of the said post, if selected for the post of principal,

(f) Rs.2,000/- (two thousand only) for application fee in National Commercial Bank, Tangal in the name of Police Welfare Fund account no. Voucher filed at 1160100001787001.

3) Basis of evaluation: concept paper and action plan presentation, case study and interview

4) Application can be cancelled: If it is found that wrong or false documents have been submitted, the selection board can cancel the application of the candidate at any stage.

5) Principal's tenure, service conditions and facilities: Principal's tenure, service conditions and facilities will be as follows.

(a) The salary of the Principal will be as per the starting scale of the Secondary Teacher First Class of Nepal Government Teacher Service.

(b) The tenure of the principal will be 4 years. Based on the evaluation of work performance, it can be extended up to 2 terms.

(c) Other facilities of the principal shall be as prescribed by the concerned Nepal Police School.
