Nepal Insurance Authority Vacancy 2081 - Open/Inclusive Competitive Written Examination

Following the approval received from the Public Service Commission, applications are invited from interested Nepali citizens meeting the following minimum qualifications for permanent positions in the Nepal Insurance Authority as per the Insurance Committee Employee Service, Conditions Regulation, 2068, Regulation 14 through an open/inclusive competitive examination. Applications that are not compliant or submitted after the deadline will not be processed. Candidates meeting the specified minimum qualifications should apply online through the Authority's application system at https://vacancy.nia.gov.np.

Special Notice Regarding Advertisement:

Following the honorable Supreme Court order dated 2079/10/24 in petition No. 078-WO-0660, the positions will be filled accordingly after legal arrangements are made.

Notes:

Type of Examination: Written, practical, and interview as specified in the syllabus. The language and type of the written examination will be as specified in the syllabus for the respective position.
Written Examination: To be conducted by the Public Service Commission.
Date and Examination Center for the Written Examination: As specified by the Public Service Commission.
Application Fees:
- First Class Officer: NPR 2,500
- Second Class Officer: NPR 2,000
- Third Class Officer: NPR 1,200
- First Class Assistant: NPR 700
- For additional advertisements under the inclusive group, an additional fee per group is NPR 400 for officer level and NPR 200 for first-class assistant.
Application Submission Deadline: Till 2081/10/18 and with double fees till 2081/10/25.
Age Limit: As per Insurance Committee Employee Service, Conditions Regulation, 2068, Regulation 19.
- For Third Class Officer positions: Must have completed 21 years and not exceeded 35 years by the application deadline (for female candidates, not exceeded 40 years).
- For First Class Assistant positions: Must have completed 18 years and not exceeded 35 years by the application deadline (for female candidates, not exceeded 40 years).
- There is no age limit for permanent employees of the Nepal Insurance Authority.
Method of Paying Application Fees: The application fee must be paid through the Authority's online application system using electronic means (eSewa, Khalti, or connect IPS).
Documents to be Uploaded: Candidates must upload their Nepali citizenship certificate, educational qualifications (equivalency or affiliation if required), experience, documents for the inclusive group, and other documents specified in the advertisement in PDF/JPG/PNG format at the specified place in the online application system. Candidates are fully responsible for the details mentioned in the application.
Examination Schedule and Interview Dates: Information will be provided when the written examination results are published.
Salary and Facilities: As per the Insurance Committee Employee Service, Conditions Regulation, 2068.
Minimum Required Educational Qualifications (for both open and inclusive groups):
- Third Class Officer, Administration Group, Assistant Director: Master's degree from a recognized educational institution.
- Third Class Officer, Law Group, Assistant Director (Law): Master's degree in Law from a recognized educational institution.
- First Class Assistant, Administration Group, First Assistant: Bachelor's degree from a recognized educational institution.
Special Instructions for Documents and Experience for Inclusive Group Candidates: Candidates wishing to apply must prepare and submit the following documents at the time of application. After being selected for an interview based on the written examination results, candidates must bring the original documents and self-attested copies during the interview. If candidates do not have the required documents at the time of application, the application may be canceled at any time.
- For Madhesi: Documents certified by the institution specified by the Government of Nepal in the Nepal Gazette as Madhesi or documents certified by the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the local head until the institution is specified in the Nepal Gazette.
- For Dalits: Based on the list from the National Dalit Commission or documents certified by the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the local head within the caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, if there is more than one surname within the caste.
- For Persons with Disabilities: Disability identity card issued by the Social Welfare Council or disability identity card issued by the local government specifying the classification of disability per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2074, Section 4, Sub-section (3).

Miscellaneous:

Candidates must meet the minimum educational qualifications, service period, age, and experience by the last date of application for the respective position. The deadline for double fees will not be considered.
Employees of the Nepal Insurance Authority cannot become candidates for the same grade position.
Applications that are not submitted within the specified period by the Nepal Insurance Authority, do not meet the minimum qualifications, do not provide the required details, or do not pay the specified fee will not be accepted.
Candidates who have obtained educational qualification certificates from foreign institutions must determine equivalency from the concerned authority by the last date of application and upload the scanned documents in the specified place.
Candidates must disclose the type/group details they wish to apply for in the specified format on their admission cards.
Candidates must compulsorily use black ink only in the written examination.

When appearing for the written examination, candidates must bring their original citizenship certificate and the admission card downloaded from the Authority's online application system.
