Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA - Nepal Bidhyut Pradhikaran) Vacancy for 3, 4, 5, and 7 Level: As the vacancies in the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) have to be filled by contract for a maximum period of one (1) year until the permanent posts are filled through open competition in various posts as per the details of level 3, 4, 5 and 7; Applications are duly invited from interested Nepali citizens who have reached the qualifications mentioned in the details as per the Procedure for Recruitment of Employees on Contract 2078. Candidates who have reached the specified minimum qualification will have to go to the website of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) www.nea.org.np and apply through Online Application.
Note:
1) Type of examination:
A) Short listing:
A short list will be prepared on the basis of educational qualification and experience in the post of officer level and educational qualification and experience in the post of assistant level and also permanent residents of the concerned province.
B) Interview:
C) Only successful candidates will be included in the short list.
2) Examination fee:
Authorized Level: Rs. 1000, for level 5 Rs. 800, for level 4 Rs. 700 and Rs. 600 for level 3
3) Age: By the last date of application, Official level: 21 years of age and not exceeding 35 years in the post of level 7 but not exceeding 40 years in case of women and disabled candidates. Assistant Level: Must have completed 18 years of age and not exceeding 35 years in the post of Level 3, 4 and 5 but not exceeding 40 years in case of women and disabled candidates.
4) Must be not disqualified to be a candidate as per prevailing staff service condition condition 2075 (with amendment) of Nepal Electricity Authority.
5) Work experience:
(1) Only the work experience submitted in the appointment letter or agreement worked in the following body or institution and with the certified document of service period will be recognized:
(A) Civil servants and other government bodies,
(B) an organization fully or partially owned by the Government of Nepal,
(C) the United Nations, its organs and specialized bodies,
(D) Government and non-government organizations,
(E) Companies or institutions established in accordance with the prevailing law.
(2) If you have worked in two or more bodies or organizations in the same period, only the work experience of one body or organization working for more time will be counted.
(3) Work experience before passing the minimum educational qualification and less than 6 months will not be recognized.
6) Last date to apply: 2078-09-15.
7) Salary, facilities and service conditions: As per the rules of Nepal Electricity Authority.
8) Place of work: For officer level posts throughout the state of Nepal. Various offices under the provincial office submitting application forms for assistant level posts.
9) Work to be done by the post: Tasks to be done by the related service, group and sub-group.
10) Exams will not be refunded except in case of cancellation of advertisement.
11) Local resident: Certificate of permanent residence in the local body within the concerned provincial area within three months issued by the local body within the geographical area of the provincial office.
12) Documents to be uploaded: Candidates should have educational qualification, training, experience, character certificate, equivalence in case of candidates who have got certificate from foreign educational institution and certificate registered in Nepal Engineering Council for official level Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Survey / Computer Engineer. The online application should be uploaded in PDF format at the specified location of the system. Candidates should scan their photo, citizenship certificate, signature and residency certificate in the case of local resident and upload it in JPG format / PDF format.
13) Things to consider when applying through the online system:
(A) Documents to be uploaded: Candidates should have both passport size photograph, signature, citizenship certificate, educational qualification, training, experience, character certificate, equivalent in case of candidates who have got certificate from foreign educational institution and official level Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Survey / Computer Engineer. For the post, the business certificate registered in the Nepal Engineering Council and other documents specified in the related advertisement should be uploaded in the specified place of the online application system.
(B) How to fill the application form from online system (How To Apply)
- After clicking on the Contract menu d of the online application menu inside the Authority's website http://www.nea.org.np/, you have to click on New Registration in the Top Right Corner of the window on the screen that appears.
- Candidate will have to enter his official Email ID in New Registration and fill in all the details mentioned in it. After filling in the details, you have to click on the Register Button at the end of the form.
- After clicking on the Register Button, by clicking on the Verify Your Email Addresses button received in the Email Address of the candidate, you will be able to keep the new password so that it will be easy for you to remember.
- Candidates will be able to login from their account and fill up the application form using the Email Address / Application ID and Password thus obtained.
(Candidates should use the same Email address / Application ID and Password from the time of submission of application till the time of printing of Admission Card or even later, so that Email Address / Application ID and Password should be kept very safe and remembered)
(C) How to submit the examination fee:
Candidates will have to click on the Payment Tab after completing all the details. One of the Payment Wallents that appears in the Payment Tab will be able to submit the prescribed examination fee from the payment service provider.
Also, in case of difficulty in filling up the online application by logging in from the Authority's website www.nea.org.np, the candidates will be able to fill up the online form directly using the link provided below.
