Nepal Bar Association Announces Vacancy for Finance Officer

Nepal Bar Association (NBA) as a key partner under the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the institutional reforms run by the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Legal Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, is operating as a key partner and programs related to access to justice.

As the Accounting Officer (Finance Officer) 1 (One) has to fill the post for the management of project programs under the Nepal Bar Association, the interested Nepali citizen must submit his personal statement (CV) and the required criteria within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice. Applicant Minimum Qualification:

  • Must have passed minimum Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (BBA, BBS, B.Com, etc.)
  • At least 3 years' knowledge and experience in accounting in government or non-governmental organizations
  • Prepare accounting reports and prepare financial reports as per the demand of donors.
  • Must have the knowledge and ability to do that.
  • Must have specialized knowledge and experience in accounting editing software such as Talley, FinPro, FAMOUS, etc.
  • Must have knowledge of MS Office Package and Information Technology (IT).
  • Must have the ability to type Nepali and English.

Terms of Service:

Service Term The approved program of the project outlined by the NEBA will remain in place. If the project is constantly renewed, then the service period as per the same will be continued automatically. The Nepal Bar Association may, by extension, not specify the arrangement between the donor body and the Nepal Bar Association in relation to the facility. The first phase of service will last until December 2020 and will be three months of testing time.

Selection process:

From the applications received, the NABA will select the appropriate candidate through an interview, including the applicant's experience and educational qualification.
