Nepal Agro Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited Vacancy for CEO and DCEO:
Nepal Agro Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NAGRO) is a ‘D’ class financial institution (10 Districts) & invites applications from interested and qualified Nepalese citizens for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO). The CEO and DCEO will responsible for the overall strategic leadership and management of the institution and shall report to the Board of Directors.
1. Post: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Give executive leadership for the achievement of its vision, mission, and strategy.
• Lead the microfinance company in compliance with NRB Directives & circulars issued from time to time, BAFIA Act & rules, and regulations issued in relation to such activities from time to time.
• Implements board policy and directives efficiently; reports company activities and financial position to the board in a timely manner.
• Program/planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
• Management of microfinance operations as a high standard.
• Develop proposals, business plans, strategic documents, products, and policy papers.
• Administrative management for the growth and development of the institution.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the BOD.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Be eligible to be appointed as the CEO of a ‘D’ class financial institution as per prevailing laws and NRB regulations.
• Possess minimum master’s degree in management/banking/finance/economics/commerce/accounts/statistics/business administration.
• At Least 5 years of working experience at top management level in banking and financial institutions, determined personality with initiative, perseverance, and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Strong commitment to mission and core values of microfinance.
• Possesses extensive knowledge of the microfinance sector, rural economy, and the banking system of the country.
• Result-Oriented and willing to travel extensively in the field.
• Proficiency in Nepali and English must possess communication and computer skills.
• Age: Minimum 30 years and a maximum of 55 years, on the date of the first announcement.
Work Station: Head Office, Pokhara-18, Kaski.
Appointment Nature: 4-year contract.
Salary and Benefit: Negotiable within the organizational rules and regulations.
2. Position: Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO)
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist to CEO for the achievement of NAGRO vision, mission, and strategy,
- Program/planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Draft proposals, business plans, strategic documents, products, and policy papers.
- Perform administrative affairs as designated for the growth and development of NAGRO.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the CEO.
- Perform the duties of the CEO in the absence of CEO
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's Degree in Economics/Business administration/Statistics/Agriculture/Social Sciences from a reputed university.
- At least 4 years of working experience at top management level/senior leadership in banking and financial institutions, determined personality with initiative, result-oriented, perseverance, and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong commitment to the mission and core values of microfinance.
- Knowledge of the microfinance sector, rural economy, and the banking system of the country.
- Result-oriented and willing to travel extensively.
- Proficiency in Nepali and English; must possess communication and computer skills.
- Age: Minimum 21 years and maximum of 55 years, on the date of the first announcement.
Work Station: Head Office, Pokhara-18, Kaski.
