The National Forensic Science Laboratory Development Committee, situated in Khumaltar, Lalitpur, has recently released a recruitment notification. It invites prospective candidates to participate in a competitive examination for a variety of vacant positions.
The positions are located in the center as well as branch offices in Bardiwas, Butwal, Surkhet, and Dhangadhi. These roles, permanently available, are to be filled through an internal competitive examination.

Educational Qualification and Equivalency
Candidates who obtained their educational qualification from a foreign institution must submit a copy of an equivalence determination certificate. This certificate should verify that their foreign qualification is recognized by the relevant body.
Age Limit
For technical service level positions, the age limit is 21 to 45 years. For assistant level positions, the age limit is 18 to 45 years. For administrative service, the age limit is 18 to 35 years (40 for women). Notably, there is no age limit for permanent employees currently working in the laboratory.
