Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is providing Technical Assistance (TA) to the Government of Nepal (GoN) for the implementation of the Motorable Local Roads Bridge Programme, Phase-IV (MLRBP-IV) in all 7 provinces.
CIAS-MEH JV, on behalf of SDC, provides TA through the Local Roads Bridge Support Unit (LRBSU), invites applications from interested and qualified Nepali nationals for the following positions of the LRBSU. Motorable Local Roads Bridge Programme (MLRBP-IV)

1. GIS/Mapping and Planning Specialist (1)Term & Location: Fixed term till December 2024. based in Kathmandu (frequent field visit) Job Description: Responsible to produce maps and documents required related to provincial road networks and bridges on them, ensuring proper management of information systems including programme website, online filing systems, and overall IT-related tasks, both hardware and software Qualification and Experience: Bachelors degree with 10+ years of experience. Masters degree with 5 years of experience primarily in GIS. Mapping and Management Information System (MIS) |

2. GIS / Mapping Support Officer (1) - Female onlyTerms and Location: Fixed term till December 2024, based in Kathmandu (frequent field visit) Job Description: Support in data entry, verification, digitization management of the website, Online filling system, managing overall IT-related tasks, both hardware, and software, Qualification and Experience: Diploma in Geomatic Engineering or IT related subject with minimum 5 Years of Experience in GIS Related work |

Provincial Bridge Coordinators - (2)Term & Location: Fixed term till December 2024. based in the provincial capitals with frequent site visits within the province Job Description: Overall coordination with the concerned entities of the provincial Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development (MoPID) for bridge planning and selection on the provincial road network manage a team of engineers and technical officers in the field of bridge design, construction supervision, and contract management Qualification and Experience: BE in civil engineering with 10 years experience or a Masters's Degree with 5 years experience in various aspects of bridge engineering design and construction management. |

4. Administration and Finance Officer: Finance (2) - Female onlyTerm & Location: Fixed term till December 2024, based in Kathmandu (with frequent provinces visit) Job Description: Prepare vouchers, financial reports, maintain project amounts up to date and accurate in a transparent manner in compliance with LRBSU rules and regulations, conduct petty cash management, timely VAT refund claim, review and payment bis of suppliers. support in internal control financial management Qualification and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Business Studies or in a relevant subject in Finance, with minimum 5 years experience or Master's Degree with minimum of 3 years experience |

Administration and Finance Officer: Human Resources (1) - Female onlyTerm & Location: Fixed term ea December 2024, based in Kathmandu (frequent field visit) Job Description: Facilitate the smooth operation of the project by ensuring all necessary administration and Human Resources related tasks. manage staff timesheet, leave, travel, ensure mandatory documents are in the personnel file, manage office logistics, assets, and insurance. Maintain and update the inventory of overall assets of LRBSU Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Management /Business Administration or in a related field with 5 years experience or Master's Degree with 3 years experience |

Administration and Finance Officer: Procurement (1)- Female onlyTerm and Location: Fixed-term till December 2024, based in Kathmandu Job Description: Monitor Storekeeping and Transport management regarding the vehicle and driver allocations in the office, timely procure required goods/ services as required, manage local and international procurement, maintaining vehicle logs, coordinate meetings/travels, and administrative tasks Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree with 5 years or Masters degree with 3 years relevant experience and having knowledge of the laws governing procurement by the government or public institution. |

Store Keeper and Inventory Assistant (1)Term and Location: Fixed term till December 2024, based in Kathmandu Job Description: Responsible to maintain and update the inventory of overall assets, assist in the procurement of logistic management, ensure records of vehicle movement, fuel consumptions, and maintenance, coordiinite meetings/travels & administrative tasks Qualification and Experience: SLC with 5 years experience or Intermediate with 3 years experience. |
