Modi Energy Limited Vacancy for Senior Finance Officer:

Modi Energy Limited is inviting applications from the competent and energetic qualified Nepalese citizens who are willing to work in the Hydropower sector.

Position: Senior Finance Officer

Minimum Qualification: Graduate in Management Experience: Minimum three years' experience as Officer/Senior Officer in Accounts/Finance department of any Public Limited Company. Experience in Listed Hydropower Company would be an added advantage.

Working Station: Kathmandu

Major Responsibilities:

1) Oversee preparation of books of accounts, reconcile transactions on monthly basis, analyze and review the financial data and prepare financial statements on a quarterly basis, regulatory reports, and an annual budget in time.

2) Dealing with tax issues, ensuring compliance with tax legislation & policies

3) Liaising with banks for implementation of consortium decisions, interest revision, negotiating terms, documentation reconciliation, and any other works related to the bank.

4) Ensure that financial control and the internal control system are in place.
