1) Qualifications and experience:
1.1) Minimum educational qualification:
- For Officer Level VII (General / Highway / Building and Architecture, Subgroup): Achieved Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (four years) from an educational institution or university recognized by the Government of Nepal.
- For Assistant Level 5th General / Highway / Building and Architecture subgroup): Obtained Diploma in Engineering (three years) in Civil Engineering from a recognized educational institution or university.
- For Assistant Level 5th (Mechanical / Mechanical General Subgroup): Obtained Diploma in Engineering (three years) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized educational institution or university.
1.2) Age limit: 21 years for Officer Level 7 and 18 years for Assistant Level 5.
1.3) Not to be disqualified for future government service.
1.4) Not found guilty by the court in a criminal case showing moral turpitude.
2) Professional Certificate (License): Must be registered with Nepal Engineering Council in case of officer level VII.

Applications must be submitted by or at 2:00 pm on 2078-12-03 from the date of publication of the information in this Ministry. Application forms can be obtained from the Administration Branch of this Ministry as well as from the Ministry's website www.mopid.karnali.gov.np.
4) Documents to be attached to the application:
- Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate,
- Personal details of the candidate,
- Copy of Educational Qualification Certificate,
- Certified copy of Certificate of Experience (Only experience having worked continuously for one year or more in the same organization will be counted.)
- A copy of the certificate of registration in the Nepal Engineering Council in the case of Officer Level VII,
- Copy of certificate of equivalence determination in case of educational degree obtained from the foreign educational institution.
5) A shortlist of candidates will be published on the website of this Ministry www.mopid.karnali.gov.np within 7 (seven) days of the last date of application. The date, time, and place of the interview will be mentioned in the same notice.
6) No recognition will be given to the application which is overdue and has not received the documents.
7) To be in accordance with the working procedure: The selection process, qualification, remuneration, and conditions of service in the service contract shall be in accordance with the working procedure related to the selection of technical manpower in the service contract, 2076 (including amendment).
