Special notice regarding advertisement:-

Although the Commission has already provided consultation to the Government of Nepalon the proposed Civil Service Bill, 2080 on 5/4/2080, the said Bill has not been submitted to the Federal Parliament until now. Since it seems that the process of filling posts cannot be carried forward within the annual schedule, a notice of advertisement has been published in accordance with the Civil Service Act, 2049, in accordance with the Federal Civil Service Act, 2049, which will be issued in accordance with the injunction order of the Honorable Supreme Court.

Type of Exam:-Written, Practical and Interview.

Examination Centre:-

  • All offices of the commission except the central office.
  • Examination centers for posts advertised by Public Service Commission Jaleshwar office will be established at Lahan in Siraha district and Birganj in Parsa district and examination centers for posts advertised from Surkhet office will also be established at Dolpa and Humla district headquarters.

Application Fee:-

The application fee for each advertisement is Rs. 700.- (seven hundred) will have to be submitted. In the case of candidates applying in additional advertisements towards inclusive groups, Rs. 200/- (two hundred) additional fee will have to be paid.

Last Date of Application:- 2080/11/15 and double duty till 2080/11/22.

Candidate Age Limit:-

  • Completed 18 years of age up to 2080/11/15 and not exceeding 35 years and not exceeding 40 years in case of women and disabled candidates. In case of health service post, 18 years of age and not more than 45 years till 2080/11/15.
  • There will be no age limit for the existing permanent employees of Federal Civil Service and Federal Parliament Service.
  • According to the interim order dated 2079/10/20 of the Honorable Supreme Court, pending the final decision of the said case, the public service commission published the advertisement on 2/15/2076 and recommended from the examination conducted for the local level, including the currently employed government employees in the advertised positions of the civil service there will be no limit. Such candidates will have to upload the application form in the experience section of the online application system.

Application Fee Submission Period: The prescribed examination fee or double fee should be compulsorily submitted by 2080/11/22 at the latest. The electronic copy of the document has to be uploaded in the prescribed format as mentioned in the online application system. The candidate should be fully responsible for the details mentioned in the application.

Method and place of submission of application fee: Application Through the online application system of the Customs Commission, the payment can be made either directly by electronic means or by printing a bank voucher with the Master ID and transaction reference number, and also cash from the designated bank.

Interview before program Exam Schedule and Date of Interview: Will be notified when the result of the written exam is published.

Minimum Educational Requirements for Civil Service Positions

Qualifications for Various Engineering and Technical Posts

  1. Economic Planning & Statistics Roles:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field, including statistics or mathematics, from an accredited institution.
  2. Civil Engineering (General Sub-Engineer):

    • Certificate or equivalent in civil engineering from a recognized educational institution.
  3. Civil Engineering (Highway Sub-Engineer):

    • Certificate or equivalent in the relevant engineering discipline from an acknowledged educational institution.
  4. Civil Engineering (Highway Lab Technician):

    • Relevant engineering certificate or equivalent from an accredited institution.
    • Must complete one month of training as a civil laboratory technician.
  5. Electrical Engineering (Electrician/Electrical Overseer):

    • Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized educational institution.
  6. Electronics and Telecommunication (Communication Assistant/Radio Technician/Instrument Mechanics):

    • Certificate level or equivalent in a related engineering discipline and 3 years of experience in aviation-related fields.
  7. Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Supervisor/Mechanical Overseer):

    • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineering at certificate or diploma level from a recognized institution.
  8. Mechanical Engineering (Construction Equipment Supply Supervisor/Senior Mechanics):

    • Mechanical or Automobile Engineering certificate or diploma from an accredited educational institution.
  9. Mechanical Engineering (Construction Equipment Supply, Senior Operator):

    • Proficiency Certificate level or equivalent in Engineering with a license to operate construction equipment such as loaders, graders, dozers, excavators.
    • Alternatively, TSLC or equivalent with a license to operate at least two types of construction equipment.
  10. Mechanical Engineering (Construction Equipment Supply, Senior Welder):

    • Certificate or diploma level in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognized educational institution.
  11. Mining Engineering (Mining Sub-Inspector):

    • SLC or equivalent, plus a diploma in Mining or Surveying, or a Junior Survey Course.
  12. Meteorology (Meteorology Assistant):

    • Certificate level or equivalent in an engineering or science subject, with training in the relevant field or one year of experience.
  13. Geology (Assistant Geologist/Technical Assistant):

    • BSc degree with a major in Geology from an accredited educational institution.
  14. Survey Engineering (Surveyor/Survey Inspector):

    • S.L.C. with Mathematics, plus either a three-year proficiency certificate in Surveying/Geomatics or a certificate level in Science (Physical Group)/Geography with at least one year of junior surveyor training.
