Lok Sewa Aayog (PSC) invites applications to recruit gazetted third-class (technical) officers in the Civil Service and Federal Parliament Service, eighth/seventh-level positions in the Health Service, and third-class officers in the National Human Rights Service. The recruitment will include promotions, internal competition, and open and inclusive categories.

Special Notice Regarding Advertisement
As per the directive of the Honorable Supreme Court (Writ No. 078-WO-0660), the advertisement notice is being issued in accordance with the Civil Service Act, 2049, to include position allocations for inclusive groups as specified in the upcoming Federal Civil Service Act.

Exam Type: Written, group tests, and interviews as per the syllabus.

Kathmandu: For Education Administration (Nepal Education Service) and Civil Engineering (Nepal Engineering Service) positions.

Other Locations: Written exams will also be conducted at the commission offices in Dhankuta, Janakpur, Pokhara, Butwal, Surkhet, and Dipayal.

Standard Fee: NPR 1,200 per advertisement.

(A) Health Service:
Applicants must meet the educational qualifications and service period requirements as per the Nepal Health Service Act, 2053, and Regulations, 2055. Candidates must also maintain valid registration in the respective professional council by the application deadline.

Special Instructions Regarding Documents and Experience for Candidates
Candidates must submit the following documents when applying. After being shortlisted for the interview, candidates must bring the original documents and self-certified copies. Failure to provide the required documents at any stage can lead to the cancellation of the application.
Submission of Academic Certificates
If candidates do not have the original academic certificates by the application deadline, they can submit the following:

A letter from the respective institution stating the candidate has passed the required examinations (including all academic years, semesters, thesis, and practicals) and mark sheets of all years/semesters.

Applications for Inclusive and Combined Exams

A document certifying the applicant belongs to a listed group as per the Nepal Indigenous and Janajati Upliftment National Foundation Act.

If multiple surnames exist within the listed group, certification from the chief of the local level and authentication from the Chief District Officer (CDO) is required.

Madhesi:
-
Certification from a government-recognized institution or, until specified, a document from the CDO with a recommendation from the local level.

Dalit:
-
A document certifying the applicant belongs to a listed group as per the National Dalit Commission.

If multiple surnames exist, certification from the local authority and authentication from the CDO is required.

Persons with Disabilities:

Disability ID issued by the Social Welfare Council or a certificate from the local authority classifying the disability as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2074.

Backward Regions:

Citizenship specifies permanent residence in the listed districts under the Civil Service Act, 2049, the Federal Parliament Secretariat Act, 2064, or the Health Service Act, 2053.

A recommendation from the local authority confirming permanent residence for at least three months before the application date.

Special Considerations for Backward Regions
If the citizenship is from another district, the applicant must provide a letter from the issuing District Administration Office explaining why. A marriage registration certificate or migration documents must be provided for relocation due to marriage or migration.
Experience Requirements

Candidates requiring prior experience must fulfill the minimum service duration by the final application date.

The extended deadline (with double fees) will not count toward fulfilling age, education, or experience requirements.

Applications that do not meet minimum qualifications, fail to provide specified details or do not pay required fees will be rejected.

Candidates needing assistance for written exams under the Public Service Commission Regulation, 2079, Rule 68, must contact the concerned office at least 10 days before the exams.

Candidates passing the written exam must submit originals and copies of educational certificates, citizenship, experience letters (if required), and documents for inclusive categories.

Academic qualifications obtained from foreign institutions must have equivalency determined by the relevant authority.

Candidates must use black ink during the exams; otherwise, answer sheets will be disqualified.
