The INGO KURVE Wustrow is looking for a Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Expert (conflict transformation specialist) in Nepal.
As PMELExpert, in close cooperation with the Country Coordinators you willberesponsible for
Supporting six partner organizations in the enhancement of appropriate, easy to handle instruments for participatory planning, monitoring, internal evaluation and learning processes for (a) systematic assessment of outcomes in people-driven nonviolent change processes, (b) lively learning processes for qualitative enhancement of project concepts and activities, and (c) effective use for reporting at all necessary levels.
- Ensuring the full compliance of the project implementation by the partner organizations with all requirements and regulations of the German Ministry BMZ with regards to documentation and reporting in German language including interim and final reports in German.
- Designing and conducting capacity development trainings including on-the-job follow-up in proposal and report writing for partner organizations.
Requirements :
Master degree and training courses in peace and conflict studies, social sciences, international development, project management, monitoring and evaluation or similar field,
Sound knowledge of and experience with PMEL methodologies in social change processes,
- Comprehensive knowledge in the analysis of causes of marginalization and comprehensive understanding of current transformation approaches,
- Experience in conducting workshops, supporting capacity development, participatory surveys, evaluation of qualitative data, and good skills in research methodologies and analytical report writing,
- Work experience within NGOs and networks in international and socially diverse contexts,
- Productive outsider status in Nepal, as the quality of nonviolent change processes thrives from this added value in international teams,
Full familiarity with the standard project management rules and procedures under the respective project budget line of the BMZ in German in terms of procurement, accounting and finance monitoring,
Extensive experience in the thematic working areas conflict resolution, woman rights and minority rights,
A high degree of flexibility, resilience and organizational skills, willingness to travel to remote areas with basic facilities,
- Professional command of English, knowledge of Nepali or ability to learn it quickly,
- Excellent command of German. Ability to write convincing project proposals and
