Eligibility Criteria

1. For Internal Candidates:

   • Must currently hold a permanent position within KSCL.

   • Candidates must have at least five years of service for higher-level positions and three years for assistant-level positions (one year less for candidates from inclusive groups).

   • Should meet the educational qualifications required for the position applied.

2. For Open Competitive Applicants:

   • Must be a Nepali citizen.

   • Should meet the minimum academic qualifications specified for the vacancy.

Key Points of the Announcement

1. Examination Types:

   • Written tests, practical tests (for positions requiring practical skills), presentations, interviews, and other methods as specified in the curriculum.

2. Curriculum:

   • The syllabus for advertised positions can be downloaded from www.kscl.gov.np.

3. Examination Center:

   • The exams will be conducted in Kathmandu Valley. The Public Service Commission will organize written tests for all positions and announce the exam schedule after it confirms it.

4. Application Fee Payment:

   • Deposit the application fee in Nepal Investment Mega Bank, Kalimati Branch, Account No. 01701030001922, or pay through Khalti or Connect IPS.

5. Application Fee:

   • Manager: NPR 2,500

   • Deputy Manager: NPR 2,000

   • Assistant Manager: NPR 1,200

   • Senior Assistant: NPR 700

   • Assistant: NPR 500

   • Candidates applying for multiple posts must pay an additional fee: NPR 400 (Assistant Manager), NPR 200 (Senior Assistant), and NPR 150 (Assistant).

6. Submission Deadline:

   • Extended Deadline with Late Fee: Up to 2081/08/27.

7. Age Limits:

   • Officer Second Class: 21–45 years.

   • Officer Third Class: 21–35 years.

   • Assistant Level: 18–35 years (40 years for disabled and female candidates).

   • There is no age limit for permanent employees of KSCL applying for open competition.
