Kathmandu Metropolitan City Announces Vacancies for Counselor and Returnee Volunteer
Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Office of Municipal Executive, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, Bagmati Province, Nepal announces vacancies for contractual positions under the Safer Migration (SaMi) program to enhance safe, organized, and dignified foreign employment. Interested and eligible Nepali citizens are invited to apply within 15 days of the publication of this notice. The application aims to fill the following contractual positions:
(1) Advertisement No.: 01/081/082 (Contract Service)
Position: Migrant Resource Center Counselor (Fifth Level)
Number of Positions: 1
Qualifications:

At least a Proficiency Certificate Level or 10+2 from a recognized institution.

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in counseling or social mobilization.

Between 21 and 40 years old as of the application date.

Must not be disqualified under government service laws.

Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email/Internet).

Proficiency in both Nepali and English, with reporting skills.

Preference for candidates with local language knowledge, educational qualifications in law, or foreign employment experience.

Position: Psychosocial Counselor (Fifth Level)
Number of Positions: 1
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or Health Education from a recognized institution or a Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling.

Six-month training in psychosocial counseling with certification from the National Health Training Center.

Relevant work experience in counseling will be prioritized.

Between 21 and 40 years old as of the application date.

Must not be disqualified under government service laws.

Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email/Internet).

Proficiency in both Nepali and English, with reporting skills.

Preference is given to candidates with foreign employment experience or from the local area.
(3) Advertisement No.: 03/081/082 (Contract Service)
Position: Returnee Volunteer
Number of Positions: 2
Qualifications:

Minimum of Grade 8 passed.

Preference for individuals with experience in foreign employment.

Must not be disqualified under government service laws.

Preference for candidates from the respective local area.
Contract Duration: Initially, until Asar 2082, renewable energy was based on program requirements and performance evaluation.
Selection Process:

Interview only for Migrant Resource Center Counselors, Psychosocial Counselors, and Returnee Volunteers.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
