It has been providing different services to the farmers of Nepal for commercial production. We have planned to provide more technical guidance and services to farmers through research-based trial and extension work. QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
1. PLANT BREEDER
- Preferably M.Sc. (Ag.) with specialization in Plant Breeding.
- Candidates should have at least 3-5 years experience in field crops like rice & maize.
- Be able to conduct and manage research team independently.
- Should have sound knowledge in theoretical as well as practical aspects.
2. Pathologist/ENTOMOLOGIST
- Preferably M.Sc. (Ag.) with specialization in Pathology or Entomology.
- Candidates should have at least 3-5 years experience in related field.
- Be able to diagnose the disease and insect of horticultural & cereal crops in farmer's field and recommend as needed.
- Be able to conduct research on plant protection.
3. AGRONOMIST
- Preferably M.Sc. (Ag.) with specialization in Agronomy.
- Candidates should have at least 3-5 years experience in related field.
- Able to conduct agronomical research independently.
- Be able to write technical reports.
4. SOIL SCIENTIST
- Preferably M.Sc. (Ag.) with specialization in Soil Science.
- Candidates should have at least 3-5 years experience in related field.
- Able to conduct soil nutrient management research independently.
- Be able to write technical reports.
5. Horticulturist
- Preferably M.Sc. (Ag.) with specialization in Horticulture.
- Candidates should have at least 3-5 years experience in related field.
- Knowledge of olericulture, pomology, and floriculture is essential.
- Be able to write technical reports.
6. AQUACULTURE SPECIALIST
- Preferably M.Sc in Aquaculture or Fisheries with 3-5 years work experience in related field.
- Should have deep knowledge of Fish Breeding especially on Pangasius and Tilapia.
- Knowledge of fish nutrition and feed will be advantageous.
- Be able to breed fish independently.
- Be able to write technical reports.
7. RESEARCH ASSISTANT
- Minimum qualification of B.Sc.Ag. Prefer elective — Plant Breeding, Pathology, Entomology, Agronomy, Soil Science, Horticulture.
- Candidates should have at least 2 years experience in related field.
- Should have sound knowledge of data collection and research-based field work.
- Have good communication and convincing skill.
8. MARKETING EXECUTIVE
- Minimum qualification B.Sc. (Ag.) or B. Corn or I. Sc. (Agriculture) with 2-3 yrs experience in marketing of agricultural inputs.
- Knowledge of plant protection measures and able to conduct training to farmers.
- Knowledge of agrochemicals, fertilizers supplements and seeds will be advantageous.
- Should have the sound market knowledge and possess good communication and convincing skills.
