International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) Vacancy for Program Manager:

The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) is an international that supports the building of democratic societies around the world. IFES provides technical assistance to the electoral stakeholders to enhance citizen participation and strengthen civil society, governance, and transparency.

IFES Nepal is seeking a qualified, dynamic, and competent candidate for the position of Program Manager to oversee program design and implementation, reporting writing, monitoring and evaluation, and product development for IFES'women's leadership project.

Position: Program Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage IF ES' women's leadership program activities;
  • Provide day-to-day technical support ensuring high-quality implementation;
  • Proactively communicate with IFES leadership and local partners on program activities;
  • Closely monitor program activities to ensure donor regulations and policies and reporting;
  • Support preparation of reports and presentations;
  • Curriculum review and development, in partnership with IFES staff and international consultants;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donor, and NGO's partners;
  • Monitor political developments affecting the programs, evaluation, and reporting;
  • Manage program staff and consultants working on the program;
  • Other relevant duties as assigned by the Country Director and Deputy Country Director. Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree preferred;
  • 8 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in the related field;
  • Experience managing CSO partner projects;
  • Strong grammar and editing skills with fluency in English and Nepali, both in written and verbal;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently;
  • The initiative, good judgment, resourcefulness, and complete tasks on time with minimal

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in international development, political science, women’s studies or a related field, Master’s degree preferred;
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in international development or related field;
  • Experience managing CSO partner projects;
  • Strong grammar and editing skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Fluency in English and Nepali is required;
  • Ability to work independently in support of a team.
  • Availability to travel up to 15%
