1) Research Officer 1 Full time:
Job description:
Works directly under the supervision of the Research Director to facilitate research at the Institute of Medicine (TOM). This will involve working closely with the prospective researches in every stage of the research project from proposal development, grant writing to submission of reports. Also, he/she will work in handling research proposals submitted to IRC and help in the journal editing process.
Qualification: Master in public health or in Nursing, a strong interest in health science research (demonstrated by publications and/or ongoing research, previous training a welcome), good command of both oral and written English and computer skills.

2) Biostatistician 1 Full time
Job description:
Works directly under the research director to facilitate research at the IOM. The person will help the researchers in the statistical aspect of research. This will involve working closely with the prospective researchers in every stage of the research project fonn proposal development, grant writing to submission of reports. Also, he/she will be active in the research capacity building process by being actively involved in research methodology and similar trainings. Another job expected is to help residents and faculty in the statistical portions of the research proposals and manuscripts submitted to IRCs and Journal of Institute of Medicine Nepal.
Qualification: Master in Biostatistics or Statistics, a strong interest in health science research (demonstrated by publications and/or ongoing research), good command of English and computer skills.

3) Accountant -1 Full Time
Job description:
As the department grows with more research related activities, accurate account keeping will be necessary, The person will keep records of all transactions of the department and will liaison with the account section of the Deans office.
