Indian Army Open Recruitment (Bharti) for Nepali females: Nepali females will be able to join the Indian Army. The Welfare Branch of the Indian Embassy in Nepal has issued a notice calling for the selection of women military police.
Recruitment will be held in Ambala, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Belgaum, Pune, and Shillong of India. The embassy notice states that those who want to go for recruitment can apply online. The application can be filled up by July 20 at http://joinindianarmy.nic.in.

- Age: 17 Years and six months to 21 Years (Born in 1st October 2000 to 1st April 2004)
- Qualification: Minimum 10th Passed
- Height: 152 CM*

Notes:
In the case of brave women, up to 30 years of age has been given eligibility, while Gurkha candidates have been given privilege up to 4 cm height.
The information issued also specifies the criteria for physical examination. Accordingly, the interested candidate will have to run a distance of 1.6 km within 8 minutes, do 10 feet long jump and 3 feet high jump.
For the daughters of soldiers, ex-soldiers, brave women, and widowed soldiers, it is mentioned in the notice that a privilege of 2 kg in weight and a bonus of 20 marks in the written test will be added.
