Himalayan Trust New Zealand Vacancy for Education Programme Coordinator:
Himalayan Trust New Zealand (www.himalayantrust.org) implements a range of programmes, the largest of which is the Education programme, funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and through fundraising in New Zealand. The programme works to improve learning outcomes and strengthen quality education for children in Solukhumbu.
POSITION: EDUCATION PROGRAMME COORDINATOR-1 (Home-based, Kathmandu or Lukla)
PURPOSE OF ROLE: The Education Programme Coordinator role represents and oversees the overall performance of Himalayan Trust's Education Programme in Nepal, including conducting monitoring and providing ongoing technical capacity building across both implementing partners, ensuring the programme delivers against its objectives and commitments set out in the programme design document.
KEY POSITION REQUIREMENT: Advanced degree in education or related area with 5+ years' experience managing technical performance of education and literacy programmes in Nepal.
Must have completed NEGRP training.
