Helvetas Nepal is a Swiss non-governmental organization actively contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of poor and disadvantaged people in Nepal. Helvetas Nepal invites applications from the committed and dynamic Nepali citizens for the position of Project Coordinator (subject to approval of the fund).

Project: Local Capacity for Climate Change Adaptation (क्षमता)

Position Title: Project Coordinator

Job Purpose:

• Leading and ensuring efficient and effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the project activities as well as management of the project resources.
• Thematically contributing to Helvetas's climate action and improving its visibility in the sector.

Required Education and Competencies:

• Master’s degree in environmental science/engineering, Climate change, or any other relevant field.
• At least 3 years of working experience in climate change adaptation and/or environmental management.
• Work experience at the local level is an asset.
• Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion, and poverty reduction.

Duty Station: Suryodaya Municipality Ilam, Koshi Province with field visits as required.

Duration: Till December 2025
