Helen Keller International (HKI) is an international non-profit organization (INGO) working in health and nutrition In Nepal since 1989 working to Improve the nutritional status of women and young children through evidence-based research and programs. HKI, CARE, FHI 360, NTAG, EAN, ENPHO, VDRC together are implementing USAID funded Suaahara II Program (SP II) in 42 districts. Senior Program Operations Manager - 1 (One)
Location: Based in Kathmandu
Summary of Job Purpose: This position will be responsible to provide administrative, technical, and managerial support to the district team to implement SP II at the district level. S/He works jointly with DCOP-Program, Thematic Managers, and HKI Core team; responsible for province and district level annual planning, periodic review, suggestions for mitigating the program gaps, and capacity building of the district and PNGO team.
Educational qualifications and experiences: Master's degree in public health/social science/ health/ agriculture/ management/ from a recognized university; minimum 7 years' of experience in health/ nutrition and food security/livelihood related programs; excellent communication skill in both Nepali and English; excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills; experience in managing large number of people and large scale projects and working with government stakeholders at Federal and Province will be an advantage.
