Ministry of Health and Population, Health Insurance Board Vacancy for Executive Director
Notice of Call for Applications for the post of Executive Director at the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Health and Population, Health Insurance Board
Pursuant to Section 20 of the Health Insurance Act 2044, the post of Executive Director of the Health Insurance Board has to be selected through open competition and appointed in accordance with Section 22 of the same Act; A notice has been published in this regard as per Article 5 (1) of the meeting of the Recommendation Committee constituted to recommend for the Executive Director of the Health Insurance Board and Article 5 (1) of the Selection Procedure 2077. Candidates who have reached the following qualifications are advised to submit the application to this Ministry within 15 days by enclosing the required details.
1. Qualifications and experience:
A. At least ten years of experience in the field of Economics, Management, Law, Medicine, Public Health, or Health Economics from a recognized educational institution.
B. Nepali citizen
C. Reached the age of 40 years by the last date of application and not exceeding 65 years.
D. Not convicted of corruption, rape, human trafficking, and trafficking, sale, and distribution of drugs, export or import, money laundering, misuse of passport, abduction, or other criminal offenses.
E. Not a member of any political party.
E. The board has no conflict of interest.
2. Documents to be submitted with the application
A) In the shadow of the certificate of Nepali citizenship
B) Self-certified documents related to educational qualifications
C) Documents revealing experience in management or teaching or working in the medical field
D) Application submitted and detailed details
E) The concept paper and the four-year professional work plan including the leading role of leading and running the board have been released after the self-proclaimed executive director openly declared that he has not been punished for the offense as per clause (c) of section 15 of the act.
F) Pre-approval of the applicant serving in a government body or institution with the application and approval from the serving body.
G) Publications on related topics.
H) Application fee Rs. 5,000.- (Five thousand) Gross voucher submitted to the Ministry
3. Presentation of Business Action Plan: Candidates on the shortlist should submit their business action plan.
4. Other details:
A) If the recommendation committee does not receive the required number of applications, such an application may be canceled and in case of insufficient application, the committee may call for re-application.
B) In case of submission of false details or documents, the application will be canceled and action will be taken as per the prevailing law.
