Habitat Nepal invites applications from highly qualified candidates for three (3) positions based in Habitat Nepal's Central Office in Kathmandu and Habitat's East Field Office in Biratnagar.

1.   Senior Manager - Human Resources and Administration (Kathmandu based) is responsible for effective planning, implementation, and execution of Human Resources and Administration strategy and business plan. The role will lead to the creation of an organizational culture that facilitates the growth, retention, and empowerment of skilled staff. The position consults with and advises management on a wide variety of Human Resources issues and supports the senior management team with information and analysis for planning and decision making that will foster a positive and highly productive workplace anchored in Habitat's core values, thereby helping to ensure that Habitat fulfills its mission in Nepal. This role also serves as the organization's Safeguarding Focal Point.

2.   Program Manager, East Field Office (Biratnagar based) is responsible for the overall management of Habitat Nepal's Field Office in Biratnagar. His/her responsibilities include oversight of the administration and financial management of the office and its projects, brokering and nurturing partnerships with local NGOs and the government, human resources/ staff management and development, and the supervision and monitoring of project implementation. This role involves significant collaboration and networking with government and concerned stakeholders at local and provincial levels. S/he is responsible for ensuring reports are prepared and submitted on time to concerned departments, stakeholders, and authorities and contributes to program design, strategic planning, grant tracking, problem solving, and budgeting.

3.   Project Engineer, East Field Officer (Biratnagar based) will serve as a subject matter expert in construction research, implementation, and training. S/he ensures that Habitat Nepal's field-based construction activities are delivered according to Habitat Housing Quality Standards and the Nepal Government codes and regulations.
