Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland Project Vacancy:
As per the bilateral agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland, the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security and the local level are running a safe immigration project (SAMI). Helvetas Nepal has provided technical assistance for the project.
The project requires the following manpower to operate safe foreign employment information and counseling centers in Gulmi district and to assist in conducting community awareness programs, psychosocial counseling, and financial literacy programs in Resunga Municipality, Musikot Municipality, Chhatrakot Rural Municipality, and Ishma Rural Municipality of Gulmi District. Due to falling; Eligible, experienced Nepali citizens are invited to apply for the following posts within seven days.
1) Advertisement No. 01/2076 / 077-077 / 078
A) Post: Program Coordinator
B) Number of posts and locality: 1 person, working in coordination with the local levels where the Sami project is operating in Resunga municipality.
C) Minimum educational qualification and experience: Passed at least bachelor level in education, humanities, and social faculty in education, management, law, or other related subjects.
D) Experience: 5 years of development work experience after graduation, out of which at least 2 years of working experience in an official or higher position. Able to coordinate well with relevant stakeholders, facilitate training, have access to computer software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint) as well as email, internet usage, local language comprehension, and comprehension skills, and report writing in Nepali and English.

A) Post: Accounts and Administration Officer
B) Number of posts and locality: 1 person, working in coordination with the local levels where the Sami project is operating in Resunga municipality.
C) Minimum educational qualification and experience: Graduated in management or a related subject.
D) Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience. Proficiency in computer software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint) as well as knowledge of email, Internet. Priority will be given to those who have worked in the accounting system of the Government of Nepal.

A) Post: Immigrant Resource Center Information and Consultant
B) Number of posts and locality: 2 (1 female and 1 male) Resunga Municipality, Immigrant Resource Center
C) Minimum educational qualification and experience: Passed minimum proficiency certificate level or 10+2.
D) Experience: At least 3 years of work experience in the field of consultancy or social mobilization. Proficiency in computer software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Able to speak the local language prevalent in the district.

A) Position: Psychosocial Counselor
B) Number of posts and local level: 4 (3 women compulsory) Resunga Municipality-1, Musikot Municipality-1, Chhatrakot Rural Municipality-1, and Ishma Rural Municipality-1)
C) Minimum educational qualification: Passed minimum proficiency certificate level or 10+2.
D) Experience: 2 years of work experience in psychosocial counseling or 1-year work experience in counseling with basic training. Preference will be given to candidates above the age group of 25 years.
5) Advertisement No. 05/2076 / 077-077 / 078
A) Position: Financial Literacy Facilitator
B) Number of posts and local level: 4 (3 women compulsory) Resunga Municipality-1, Musikot Municipality-1, Chhatrakot Rural Municipality-1, and Ishma Rural Municipality-1)
C) Minimum Educational Qualification: Minimum Proficiency Certificate or 10 + 2 passed.
D) Experience: At least 2 years experience in financial institutions, cooperatives, entrepreneurship development, and social mobilization. Preference will be given to candidates in the age group of 25 years and above.

A) Position: Return volunteer (part time)
B) Number of posts and local level: (12) Resunga Municipality-3, Musikot Municipality-3, Chhatrakot Rural Municipality-3 Janar Ishma Rural Municipality-3)
C) Minimum educational qualification: Passed minimum class 8.
D) Experience: Went to Gulf countries or Malaysia and worked for at least 1 year.

Duration: Currently till 31st Ashad 2078, the program can be renewed as per the requirement and performance.

Documents required:
Interested Nepali citizens who have reached the above qualification should submit a photocopy of Nepali citizenship, certificate of experience, name of at least 2 reference persons, personal details including contact phone number, photocopy of educational qualification certificate, and two passport size photographs. Must be submitted to local levels (Resunga Municipality / Musikot Municipality / Chhatrakot Rural Municipality / Ishma Rural Municipality).
Applications received after the stipulated time will not be included in the selection process. Candidates who have been shortlisted for the first time advertisement are requested to contact the office within seven days along with two photocopies.
Selection Process:
Only the candidates selected in the preliminary selection will be included in the computer proficiency test and written (except advertisement no. 06/2076/077/077/07) an Interview. A positive discrimination process will be followed for the inclusion of disenfranchised communities in every post, especially women, Dalit, Janajati, Madhesi, and minority candidates. Also, in all advertisements, preference will be given to the concerned local level candidates who have worked in safe immigration (foreign employment).
