The Government of Karnali Province, Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest, and Environment, Province Forest Directorate in Birikndranagar, Surkhet has published a vacancy notice on 2079/11/12 for the recruitment of Firefighters. The purpose of this recruitment is to build a "Forest Fire Control Force" to control and prevent forest fires.

Minimum Qualifications Required
Candidates who meet the following qualifications are eligible to apply:
- Age limit: Completed 18 years and not exceeding 45 years by the last date of registration of the application form.
- Recruited and worked as Myadi Police in the districts of Karnali Province during the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly Elections 2079.
- Not convicted of a criminal offense that appears to be criminal.
- Not being a member of a political party.
- Physically and mentally healthy.
- Not being a member of a terrorist organization.
- Not pregnant.
Selection Process
Firefighters will be selected based on the merit order of the details obtained from the Provincial Police Office Surkhet of the temporary policemen who have passed the recruitment process in the districts of Karnali Province for the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections 2079. The applicant will only be eligible to be a candidate for the district in which they have joined the Myadi Police.

Tenure and Remuneration
The working period of the Firefighter will be 90 days, and they will receive a remuneration of Rs. 24700 per month (Twenty-four thousand one hundred rupees only), totaling Rs. 74100 for 3 months. Accident insurance coverage will be provided for the working period.
Main Tasks
The main tasks of Firefighters will be related to fire extinguishing and fire control. They will be responsible for the work done by the Division Forest Office and Sub Division Forest Office.
